About
Deborah Lehman, MD, is the Interim Vice Chair for Education within the Department of Pediatrics at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. She received her undergraduate degree from Stanford University and her MD from UCLA. Dr. Lehman completed her pediatric residency at Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) and specialized training in pediatric infectious diseases at UCSF. Her professional interests include congenital infections and medical education. She has created a pediatric infectious diseases curriculum for medical students and residents and serves on the editorial board of NEJM Journal Watch Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, as well as being a senior deputy editor of NEJM Knowledge Plus. Dr. Lehman oversees pediatric clerkships and electives for medical students, and she is actively involved in mentoring and educational development within the department.
