Hee Man Park is the graduate program director and an associate professor of Human Resource Management at the School of Labor and Employment Relations. He holds a Ph.D. in Management and Human Resources from The Ohio State University, Fisher College of Business, and a Master’s degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University. His research centers on fostering sustainable and healthy workplaces by examining career and occupational inequality, fair pay practices, and the dynamics of inclusion and exclusion in supervisor-subordinate relationships. His teaching interests include total rewards, compensation analytics, capstone courses in Human Resource and Employment Relations, and organizational leadership at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Dr. Park's work has been published in prestigious management and psychology journals, including the Academy of Management Journal, Personnel Psychology, the Annual Review of Organizational Psychology and Organizational Behavior, the Journal of Organizational Behavior, and Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin. Before pursuing his Ph.D., he worked as an HR business partner and corporate culture analyst in global high-tech companies, including Samsung Electronics in South Korea and Hewlett Packard in Houston, Texas, and Palo Alto, California. He is passionate about tennis and has completed a USTA Level 1 coach workshop.
