Sinja Leonelli joined New York University Stern School of Business as an Assistant Professor of Accounting in June 2023. Her research interests span two broad areas in empirical accounting: misconduct reporting, regulation, and enforcement with a focus on whistleblowing; and the use of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) information by stakeholders such as regulators, employees, and consumers.
